Dear Jerry,
Did not want to leave on our trip until we sent you an expression of
appreciation for the stained glass window hanging of a lighthouse you prepared for us.
When you are really pleased with something, words that clarify your
language are often over utilized and it is difficult to really come up with the right language. That said, we want you
to know that the panel you executed for us is well beyond our expectations. The colors and shapes of the individual
pieces so perfectly fit the photo samples we provided. The colors of rock and the sea are superb. More, the glass
that represents a summer sky with the variable cloudiness is so real, it is like a photograph. The detail of using wire
to make the railings around the outdoor balconies truly enhances the accuracy and realism of the panel. Finally,
your work in cutting and fitting the small pieces that make up the glass enclosure for the light is wonderful.
Thank you for this wonderful addition to the furnishings of our
home. You certainly qualify as a master craftsman of stained glass.
